Cadillac Converj Concept Discussion: 2 or 4 Doors

The press and the public love the 2-door CONVERJ concept (as is!). Since the excitement over a 2-door coupe ends after the first year, then it seems to me that the logical thing to do would be to produce only the 2-door CONVERJ during the first year to build excitement and get the car on the road in as many places as possible. Produce the 4-door CONVERJ as a follow-on in the second year to feed the mass market and get new press coverage. GM is already planning on producing the VOLT as a 4-door (waaay less ***y than its concept!) so why make a direct competitor with another bland looking 4-door? A vanilla 4-door VOLT and a ***y 2-door CONVERJ (keep it looking like it does now!) would complement each other. Cadillac needs to make another bold statement in its effort to regain its status as the 'standard of the world'. Going against the usual marketing rules by starting with a 2-door is the best way to do that.
