3,550 miles really isnt broken in for a GM engine.. more like 5,000.. You should definitely notice an increase after the first oil change.. But 16MPG does still sound off.. Do you have an AWD model? Ive seen some people leave the transfer case in Auto.. The Ecu doesn't hold the all electric mode as long, and cuts the cylinder deactivation time in half..
