What kind of gas mileage should I expect on a 09 CTS-V while cruising at 75 mph? I have a 06 SRT8 and a 03 Saleen, so I'm aware of what a gas guzzler is, :D but the EPA rating of 15 MPH highway (with auto trans) on a V seems a little low for not being in a boost situation. Thanks a lot.
Correction; I now have a 09 CTS-V and the EPA sticker reads 12/18. I've been getting 18.5 mpg locked it cruise on the interstate doing 80.
Dang, that is really low! Can I ask what you get with your Saleen and SRT8 on the freeway at those speeds?

Andy: The EPA window sticker reads 12/15 on the 09 automatic CTS-V.
The 06 Charger SRT8 EPA reads 14/20 and the 03 Saleen reads 16/25, both get about 1 mile less in each area. Any screwing around and all you hear is the sucking sound. :D I'll be trading both vehicles in on the V probably Saturday.

I was gonna say, the fuel economy is typically worse than the window sticker says it is. Hopefully not the case with the 09 V! Post some pictures if you can, I want to see it!

I just bought my 06 CTS V with 15700 miles on it. What kind of mileage is everyone getting with their V's. I traded in my 03 Mach 1 (32v) and I was able to get 27 on the open road running 70 mph.

Andy: I posted in pictures. So far I'm getting 18.5 driving 80 on the Interstate in cruise. Window sticker ended up reading 12/18. Love this vehicle :D

I get 16 MPG average at that speed. On a take I get about 250 miles with about 85% of my driving on the highway.

Anyone have an update on mileage?
I am getting 18-19 on the road at 70 mph cruse on. Car has about 4000 miles on it and is a 6 speed standard. I expect mileage to get better with more miles.
